On July 8, Sinochem Hong Kong was officially granted a money lender license by the Licensing Court of Hong Kong, marking the formal establishment of Sinochem Hong Kong as a licensed financial services institution in Hong Kong and a key step toward compliance in its wealth management business. This provides a solid foundation for its related operations in Hong Kong.

In Hong Kong, money lender licenses are jointly granted by the Licensing Court, Companies Registry, and Police Force. Any company engaged in money lending must hold this license, though intra-group businesses may be exempt. Sinochem Hong Kong fully complies with all regulatory and legal requirements, steadily enhancing its compliance and expanding its wealth management capabilities and services. In early 2025, the company established a dedicated task force to meticulously prepare the application. After six months of close collaboration with legal advisors, auditors, and other experts, the license was successfully secured. 

Going forward, Sinochem Hong Kong will continue to enhance compliance, leverage Hong Kong's role as a global financial hub, and make full use of domestic and international markets to support Sinochem Holdings’ strategic development.
